When you need to refer a patient for outpatient imaging or need the expertise of interpretation by a radiologist, you can rely on our expertise and timely reports. 

Services Available

Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Services

Outpatient Ultrasound:
You or your clients call to schedule an outpatient ultrasound appointment. Our staff will then call your office to request records. We always ask for the last year's worth of records. We ask that this include all medical notes, physical exams, lab results and any related radiographs. All findings will be reported to you by phone and fax prior to the end of the business day. Fine needle aspirates can be performed on an outpatient basis, if appropriate. All lab results will be faxed directly to you to be relayed to your client. Outpatient CT: 
We require that the referring veterinarian call to discuss and schedule any potential outpatient CT. Our goal is to make this process and easy and seamless for you and for your client. The best way to achieve this is to discuss the case directly with Dr. Heffelman to make sure that it is appropriate for an outpatient CT. Our new 64 slice CT will help make these cases as smooth as possible. 

 

Radiographic Interpretation

The best diagnostic images can be completely invalid if they are interpreted incorrectly. We encourage you to utilize our board certified radiologist, Dr. Heffelman, to interpret imaging studies and help you make the best recommendations for treatment. She personally examines and interprets every image, and sends a detailed report to you within 24 hours.

Teleradiology Submissions

Digital radiographic studies are submitted through our teleradiology service. Please contact us if this is the first time you are using this service and we will be happy to get you set up. If you are already an established client, just log in below to submit a case for interpretation. Analog (plain film) radiograph studies can be mailed in for interpretation; please include the Radiology Services Form and the Credit Card Authorization Form with your radiographs.

To set up a new client account with your company, please direct them to our support website www.dvminsight.net and the section For New DVMInsight Clients

  1. Your client should submit the completed New Client Account Request Form to DVMInsight Support via email at support@dvminsight.net or give us a call to request the set up with you and provide their hospital information. 
  2. We will set up their account as soon as possible, within 24 business hours, then follow up via email to provide them with their new DVMInsight account log in and our server information. If we are familiar with their imaging system, then we will assist them with setting up our server as a destination to send images; however, they may need to reach out to their imaging vendor for additional assistance.
  3. Once their imaging system is configured, they should contact DVMInsight Support either by submitting a ticket or calling 866-669-8090 at their convenience to send a test case and get training on the platform.
